Agreement to these terms

This website is provided by Ihsan Circle to describe our programs and to accept inquiries, applications, registrations, and payments. By using this site or enrolling in a program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who may use this site

Several of our programs serve minors. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must submit any application, registration, or payment on your behalf and agrees to these terms with you. By submitting information about a student, you confirm that you are that student’s parent or guardian, or are otherwise authorized to do so.

Applications & enrollment

Submitting an inquiry or application does not guarantee placement in a program. Ihsan Circles and Hilaq involve a selection or partnership process; Private Study availability depends on instructor capacity; and course seats are limited. We will confirm a place in writing before any program begins.

We may decline or discontinue a placement where a program is not a suitable fit, where conduct disrupts other students, or where information provided to us is materially inaccurate.

Tuition & payments

Payments made through this site are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Prices are in U.S. dollars, and the amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.

Where a program is billed monthly, that charge recurs until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month, and the current month is not prorated.

No sincere student is turned away from our student programs for inability to pay. If tuition is the obstacle, write to us before enrolling and we will find a way forward.

Teaching with Ihsan, our teacher and mentor training program, is funded differently: participants are encouraged to seek sponsorship from their masjid, school, or community, and we will help with that request. Sponsorship help is available, but funding is not guaranteed.

Refunds & cancellations

Because our cohorts are small and a reserved seat is held for one student:

• Withdraw before a course or cohort holds its first session, and tuition is refunded in full.
• Withdraw after the first session but before the second, and tuition is refunded on a prorated basis for the sessions not yet held.
• After the second session, tuition is generally non-refundable, though if circumstances change unexpectedly, contact us and we will do our best to be fair.
• If we cancel a program, or cannot deliver the sessions promised, you receive a full refund of the amount unused.

Donations

Donations are processed through Ideal Foundation (EIN: 41-3365312), our fiscal sponsor and a registered non-profit organization. Donations are generally not refundable. If a gift was made in error, contact us and we will work with our fiscal sponsor to resolve it.

Acceptable use

Please use this site only for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, submit information that is false or that belongs to someone else without permission, or use the site to harass others or to break the law.

Program materials & intellectual property

The content of this site and the curricula, handouts, and recordings we produce belong to Ihsan Circle or the respective owner, and are provided to enrolled students for their personal study. Please do not redistribute, resell, or publish them without our written permission. Classical texts and other third-party works remain the property of their own rights holders.

Third-party services & links

We rely on third-party services, including Stripe for payments and Calendly for scheduling, and may link to sites we do not control. Their own terms and privacy practices govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for their content.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Ihsan Circle provides this website and its content on an as-is basis and makes no warranties as to its completeness, accuracy, or continuous availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ihsan Circle is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site, and our total liability relating to a program is limited to the amount you paid us for it.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or medical advice.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our programs develop. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change, and material changes will not be applied retroactively to a program you have already paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
