What we collect

When you submit a form on this site, to request Private Study, apply to an Ihsan Circle, start a conversation about Hilaq, or ask a general question, we collect the information you provide: your name, email, phone number, and message. Where an application concerns a minor student, a parent or guardian submits that information on the student’s behalf.

How we use it

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, process applications and registrations, schedule interviews or consultations, and administer our programs. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of trusted services to run this site and our programs:

• Vercel: website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics
• Resend: email delivery for form submissions
• Google Sheets: internal record-keeping of inquiries and applications
• Stripe: payment processing for tuition and donations (Stripe never shares your full card details with us)
• Calendly: scheduling interviews and consultations

Children’s information

Several of our programs serve minors, including preteens and teenagers. We collect information about a minor student only through a parent or guardian’s direct submission, and only as much as we need to evaluate an application and administer the program. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child, and we do not use a student’s information for advertising or sell it to anyone.

A parent or guardian may ask us at any time to review, correct, or delete the information we hold about their child. Write to us at the address below and we will act on it.

Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics through Vercel to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It does not use tracking cookies to build an advertising profile of you, and we run no advertising trackers on this site. Some third-party tools we link to, Stripe and Calendly for example, set their own cookies when you use them, governed by their own policies.

Your choices & rights

You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop emailing you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor those requests regardless of where you live. Write to irslanahmad@ihsancircle.com and we will act on it.

Some information we may need to keep: a record of a payment, for instance, where we are required to retain it.

When we share information

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the services listed above that operate this site on our behalf, and where we are required to by law or need to protect the safety of a student or another person.

When you donate, your donation is received by our fiscal sponsor, Ideal Foundation, which maintains donor records for receipting and legal compliance.

Data retention & security

We retain inquiry and application information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer our programs and maintain records, and take reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our programs and tools change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
